تود سفارة دولة قطر في بريتوريا الإفادة بالتحديث التالي حول برنامج دولة قطر لرحلات الخطوط الجوية القطرية لإعادة الجنوب أفارقة العالقين حول العالم ومساعدة الأجانب في جنوب أفريقيا للمغادرة إلى أوطانهم، والذي يتم بالتعاون بين السلطات المختصة في الدوحة مع السفارة وكل من وزارة الخارجية ووزارة النقل في جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا: نجح البرنامج في إعادة 1368 من المواطنين الجنوب أفارقة، إلى جمهورية جنوب أفريقية، وإعادة 2074 من الأجانب العالقين في جنوب أفريقيا، على بلدانهم. وذلك من خلال 16 رحلة ذهاب وإياب ما بين الدوحة وجوهانسبيرج. وكانت آخر رحلتي ذهاب وعودة تم إنجازهما في 2/6/2020. إن هذا البرنامج يجسد مثالاً للتضامن العالمي والتعاون الدولي في مواجهة جائحة الكورونا COVID-19 التي أصابت الأسرة الدولية، في سبيل التصدي لآثارها، ومثالاً على العلاقات الثنائية الممتازة بين دولة قطر وجمهورية جنوب أفريقيا، ومع كافة الدول الصديقة. خلال شهر يوليو تم تشغيل رحلتي ذهاب وعودة يوم الجمعة 10/7 وجاري العمل لتشغيل رحلتين يوم السبت 18/7.

الدوحة في 01 يوليو /قنا/ شاركت دولة قطر، اليوم، في المؤتمر الوزاري لإطلاق إعلان عالمي بشأن الاستجابة الرقمية لوباء فيروس كورونا /كوفيد - 19/، عبر الاتصال المرئي، بعنوان /سد الفجوات الرقمية: الاستجابة الرقمية لوباء فيروس كورونا/ مثل دولة قطر في المؤتمر سعادة السيد سلطان بن سعد المريخي وزير الدولة للشؤون الخارجية وأعرب سعادة وزير الدولة للشؤون الخارجية، في كلمة دولة قطر أمام المؤتمر، عن تأييد دولة قطر للإعلان العالمي بشأن الاستجابة الرقمية لوباء فيروس كورونا وأوضح سعادته أنه في الوقت الذي تطال فيه تداعيات جائحة كورونا جميع نواحي الحياة، فإنَّ إيجاد السبل الكفيلة لاستمرار التعليم لأكثر من 90 في المائة من الطلاب المتأثرين بإغلاق المدارس جراء هذا الوباء، يُشكَّل أحد أبرز التحديات العالمية في الوقت الراهن، "ولا شك أن الإعلان العالمي الذي نُطلقه اليوم سيُشكلُ أساساً هاماً لمواجهة التحديات التي يفرضها هذا الوباء العالمي" وأضاف: "أن حماية وتعزيز الحق في التعليم تأتي في مقدمة أولويات سياسة دولة قطر، وقد تمكنت المؤسسات المعنية من تسخير التكنولوجيا لتطوير التعليم ومواكبة التطورات العالمية، وقد وضعت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي آلية العمل للتعلُّم عن بُعد، وتفعيل المنصات الإلكترونية لجميع الطلاب لمواجهة هذه الظروف الاستثنائية التي يفرضها الوباء" ولفت سعادته إلى أن دولة قطر تواصل سعيها نحو إيجاد الحلول المطلوبة لزيادة القدرة على التكيف مع الأزمات، وضمان إتاحة الخدمات العامة على نحوٍ فعّالٍ وكفؤٍ ودون انقطاع، من خلال تقديم الخدمات الحكوميَّة الإلكترونيَّة عن بُعد وبين سعادة وزير الدولة للشؤون الخارجية، أن تعزيز الأمن السيبراني وتوفير بيئة الكترونية آمنة يأتي على رأس أولويات دولة قطر، مشيرا إلى أن وزارة المواصلات والاتصالات أطلقت العديد من المبادرات لحماية النُظُم والبنية الأساسية لتكنولوجيات المعلومات والاتصالات في الدولة وقال: "لا شك أن الجرائم الإلكترونية والتي كانت دولة قطر إحدى ضحاياها تُشكل تهديدًا للسِلم والأمن الدوليين وانتهاكا للقانون الدولي، لذا يتعين على كافة الدول الوفاء بمسؤولياتها في التصدي لهذه الجرائم ومعاقبة مرتكبيها وفقاً لأحكام القانون الدولي" وأكد سعادته على مواصلة دولة قطر جهودها نحو تعزيز الجانب الإيجابي لاستخدام التكنولوجيا المبتكرة والتحول الرقمي، وبما يُحقِّق مجتمعا محوره الإنسان وتمكينه من تحقيق التنمية المستدامة المنشودة بكافة أبعادها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية وغيرها
