H.E Mr. Mubarak bin Nasser Al Khalifa, the non-resident Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Angola, participated in the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Angola's independence, held in the presence of H.E João Manuel Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola.

H.E Ambassador Al Khalifa conveyed the congratulations of H.H the Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, may God protect and preserve him, to H.E President Lourenço, on this occasion, along with His Highness's wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly Republic of Angola.

The event was attended by heads of state and representatives of invited governments, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Angola.
